I love making hairbows too! We have a store here in Arizona that JUST sells ribbon. It's huge....and there's soooo much ribbon!! It's fun to go and find ribbon that perfectly matches a church dress or whatever. We'll have to go when you are here!
And Miranda - go to this site: http://bowdesigns.50webs.com/index.html
That has some basic directions and once you get the general technique down, you should be able to experiment. I still need to figure out how to make the super elaborate twisted boutique bows...
Love the bows! I get my sister to make mine b/c I'm too slow! And, Brooklyn usually just rips them out of her hair.
Megan SIL: I know what store you're talking about! That's the one I shop at too! Ribbons and Lace in Mesa, right? My sister took me there when my little girl was born and I LOVE it! You can find the coolest ribbon there. I've spent so much money for beautiful bows that Brooklyn won't keep in. :) Where do you live, btw, I'm in Anthem right now.
Megan S.: if you come to AZ, take a trip north of Phoenix and come and visit us! :)
I'm a mommy, wife, chocoholic, lover of books, and singer(in the car when the radio is turned up too loud to hear myself). I love my kids, my amazing husband, my Father in Heaven, soft bed covers, watching my girls dance, tickling my boys, cooking and baking(and eating!), making hair bows, chocolate covered strawberries, crocheting, going to the gym, taking pictures, and kissing my kids' smooshy cheeks.
My heroes are my parents. I hope I can always be a strong, kind woman with a zest and passion for life.

Okay, so maybe I can't wait until Elizabeth gets some hair. It will only be a couple of years!
Amy
I'm so jealous! I'm hopeless at hair and bows!!!! They look adorable. Maybe I'll give your website a try!
