Fire Statistics

327,000 acres burned
1500 homes destroyed
560,000 people evacuated
$1,000,000,000 in costs
55 injuries
3 deaths

Most of the fires are at least 10% contained. We're now getting nasty smoke and ash outside and Emma's school was canceled today, so we're just staying inside as much as possible.

Our schools have been closed all week and won't be open till Wednesday. This whole thing is so crazy.

Thanks for the stats. We don't have cable and so I am never sure what is going on unless someone tells me.

The statistics are pretty grim. Hopefully, we are almost done with this.
